The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes

The world-renowned series is back! Along with the film’s positive track record, it stars various famous actors and actresses: Rachel Zegler, Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage, Burn Gorman, Jason Schwartzman, Hunter Schafer, Fionnula Flanagan and Ashley Liao. The plot is set 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered as tribute. The film is a variation of the original, showing a previous Hunger Games round, but dives further into the roots of the brutal traditions of the government. The movie hits theaters on Nov. 17, so clear your calendar!

The Marvels

Marvel Studios is releasing its highly anticipated sequel to the famous hit “Captain Marvel.” The three starring superheroes — played by Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris — seem to switch bodies each time they use their superpowers. The film shows their journey in discovering the mysteries behind this strange phenomenon. The trailer portrays the plot to be more severe and action-packed than comedic. The movie’s release date, Nov. 10, will surely fill up the theaters in Westwood!

What Happens Later

Love is in the air! The long-awaited romantic comedy is on its way to big screens on Nov. 3. Directed and co-written by Meg Ryan, the film shows the love story of two ex-lovers — played by Meg Ryan and David Duchovny — who find themselves in the same small snowed-in airport. The two lovers spend the night at the airport talking about life, love and everything in between. The cozy, snowed-in setting makes the film perfect for a cool November day.
