While it can be difficult to balance school work, social life and extracurriculars, your four years are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take advantage of all that college has to offer. Here are five unique clubs you might not have known exist here on campus that you can join!

Bruin Bites Food Magazine

Bruin Bites is a publication solely focused on food. What could possibly be better than that? It serves as a culinary guide for Bruins, sharing favorite on-campus dining spots, dining halls, LA restaurants, recipes and more.

Bruin Burlesque

For anyone who is absolutely obsessed with Christina Aguilera in the iconic movie, “Burlesque,” then this is your chance to learn her ways. Burlesque is an art form that empowers people to embrace their bodies, express themselves and celebrate their unique beauty. Get ready to unleash your inner performer and evoke a new sense of self-confidence through Bruin Burlesque. This club is a safe space for dancers, both aspiring and experienced, to try weekly choreographies and learn from professionals.

Disney Club at UCLA

Are you nostalgic for the days of Hakuna Matata and Prince Charming? If so, look no further than the Disney Club. From catching up on the newest films and rewatching childhood favorites to visiting the amusement park, this club is a haven for all things Disney. Whether you’re a die-hard fanatic or just starting to explore the world of Disney, this club is fun and welcoming to any Bruin!

Taara at UCLA

Explore the rich culture of South Asia through dance with Taara! This accomplished dance team combines numerous styles of dance, including Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kuchipudi and Kathak, to create beautiful routines. Whether you have experience with South Asian dance or not, the instructors will guide you every step of the way and help you learn the movements, rhythms and cultural significance behind each dance. They also organize exciting performances throughout the year where you can showcase your skills and share your love of South Asian dance with the community.

Quidditch Club

Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Slytherins and Ravenclaws are all welcome in the Quidditch Club. Experience the thrill of playing Quidditch, just like in the “Harry Potter” universe! This club has regular practices and scrimmages where you can hone your skills and learn from experienced players. Don’t worry, no actual flying is required. This club offers a unique take on some friendly competition and lots of fun!
