To all the boba lovers or people who want to try boba but don’t know where to start, this is your guide to all the different boba spots in Westwood!
Just Boba Tea House
Located at 952 Gayley Ave. (a few doors down from In-N-Out), Just Boba Tea House is a great place for brewed teas, milk teas, fruit teas, fresh milk teas and ice-blended drinks! They allow you to choose the sweetness and ice levels. Contrary to its name, Just Boba Tea House also serves many food items, including popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks and fries. They also offer sweet treats like tayaki with various fillings! You can order from Just Boba Tea House via Uber Eats and DoorDash. Their drinks range in price from $4.50 to $7, not including boba add-ons. Food items cost between $5 and $10. They open at noon and close at midnight from Friday to Sunday and at 11 p.m. during the rest of the week. I heard from several customers that they enjoy the popcorn chicken and milk teas!
Sharetea
Located at 1055 Broxton Ave. in Westwood, Sharetea offers a variety of drinks including milk, brewed and fruit teas, as well as fresh milk, ice-blended and creama drinks! Sharetea has lots of options for any boba lover! They also allow you to choose the sweetness and ice levels. The prices range from $5 to $7 per drink and are fairly cheap compared to other options around Westwood. This boba shop does not sell any snacks or food items, but the wide variety of teas makes up for the lack of food. Sharetea is available on GrubHub, Postmates and DoorDash, so you can get it delivered to your apartment or dorm if you are too tired to walk there. Sharetea is also a great option because it is open from 11 a.m. to midnight. When visiting this location, many of the customers told me that they liked the fruit teas and their signature drinks!
Junbi
Located at 10967 Weyburn Ave. in Westwood, Junbi is known for its many variations on matcha! They offer over 21 different matcha drinks, including a typical matcha latte and various seasonal flavors of matcha. They sell other teas as well, all which cost between $5 and $8. For an additional cost, you can change the type of milk used and can also add boba or other toppings. If soft serve is your thing, Junbi also offers a soft-serve matcha for around $5. They also sell other items, including rice balls with spam, salmon and cod fillings. You can order your items on GrubHub and DoorDash. Along with being a great option for all things matcha, Junbi also sells cute apparel and kits to help you brew your own matcha! Junbi is open from noon to 8 p.m.
It’s Boba Time
It’s Boba Time is located at 10946 Weyburn Ave. They serve a variety of drinks, including milk teas, iced teas, smoothies, iced coffees, frappes, tea floats, slushes, shakes and so much more. Drink prices range from $5 to $9. They also sell food such as acai bowls, shaved ice and macarons! Acai bowls start at $13, not including add-on prices. Their shaved ice starts at $8.50 and has various flavors, including green tea, red bean, strawberry and mango. Their macarons are sold either as singles or in bulk! A single macaron is $3, a box of 6 sells for $17, and a box of 12 to share with your friends or roommates costs $27. You can start an order on GrubHub. They are open every day from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Meet Fresh
Located at 10923 Weyburn Ave. in Westwood, Meet Fresh is a great place for boba and handmade desserts! It has a variety of drinks, including brown-sugar boba drinks, teas, milk teas, soy milk teas and herbal teas. They also sell a range of food and desserts. Desserts cost $10 and up, while drinks range from $4.50 to $8. Meet Fresh is on the pricier side with additional toppings like boba or different jelly toppings. You can order Meet Fresh on GrubHub! Meet Fresh opens at noon and closes at 11 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday and at 10 p.m. on all other days.
