When spending all day studying, it’s nice to look down at your fingers as you type and see a nice set of fresh nails. But getting your nails done in Los Angeles is a lot more of a hassle than it should be.

However, when it comes to nails for a UCLA student, there is no better way to go than @ucnailsinla.

Haircuts are essential for students on the Hill, especially for people who prefer monthly hair maintenance, and Westwood is no short stop for this need.

So, if you’re tired of walking to Westwood for a $50 haircut, why not seek out a cheaper, more convenient option on the Hill? Diego Duarte, a second-year undergraduate student majoring in business economics, created Bruinblendz, a haircutting business located on the Hill for students like you!

With an aspiration to find a financial stream in college while also setting his own schedule and connecting with people, Duarte found the craft of barbering.

Bruinblendz has become a well-known name around campus with an Instagram following of over 400 students. Duarte takes appointments through the booking page found in his Instagram bio, and he updates his schedule weekly. On his page you can find some photos of his past work and his affordable price sheet as well!

Acknowledging the fear of getting a bad cut, Duarte strives to make sure his clients are happy and heard. He loves connecting with whoever is in his chair and is a great conversationalist who will keep you entertained throughout your haircut experience.

So if you are looking for a new barber on the Hill, be sure to check out @bruinblendz.
