Vacations shine with surf-pop summer vibes

by Charity Brown

Vacations delivered a radiant performance under clear skies and carefree vibes. Renowned for their indie-pop sound, the band brought a warm, golden voice to the Verizon Stage, transporting the audience to sunlit shores through bright melodies and uplifting energy. They opened with their hit “Next Exit,” where lively guitar riffs and thoughtful lyrics set an upbeat yet reflective tone before they greeted the crowd and transitioned into “Close Quarters,” evoking that nostalgic, ocean-breeze summer feel.

Vacations’ style truly sweeps you away with its surf-pop melancholy. With crisp guitar strokes, smooth basslines and softly echoing vocals, they crafted a wistful atmosphere that perfectly captures the essence of endless summer.
