On Saturday, November 11, rock icons Queen arrived at BMO Stadium in downtown Los Angeles to begin the first show of their two night stay in the city. Original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor returned to the stage, joined by frontman Adam Lambert who honored the legacy of rockstar Freddie Mercury with talent and grace. Together, these men put on a show that all in attendance are sure to remember for many years to come, celebrating the band’s greatest hits from the ’80s. As they performed their well-known songs “Another One Bites The Dust”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Radio Ga Ga”, the crowd sang and clapped along in harmony. The audience was filled with people of all different ages; older generations relished in the nostalgia of their younger years while younger ones stood awed at the classics they never had the chance to hear live before. With a nearly three hour show that encompassed the entire musical career of one of the greatest rock bands in history, Queen + Adam Lambert turned Los Angeles into an ’80s nostalgia fest no one will forget.
