The UCLA campus is loud and proud again as Bruin Day finally arrives. Bruin Day is an opportunity for newly admitted freshman and transfer students to tour campus, view potential on-campus housing, and chat with tabling campus resources and other departments. The freshman Bruin Day took place on April 13, and the transfer student Bruin Day will take place next month on May 11. Whether they’ve already committed or are still deciding, students from all around get the chance to see what being a Bruin is all about!

Christian Green, a first-year transfer student majoring in African American studies, holds up an "Ask Me" sign to signal to potential freshman students. “The day’s been good," Green said. "I haven’t been here for too long but I’ve talked to a few students still making their decisions and they seem a little nervous.”

Sylvia Ke (left), a freshman studying education & social transformation, and Hayden Carroll (right), a senior majoring in psychology, hold up an "Ask Me" sign to guide students. “Students seem super excited and a lot of them are already committed, so it’s been a lot of congratulating people and directing them to things they’d need to see," Ke said.

Angelica Sac Tzep, a sophomore majoring in public affairs, works under one of the tents in Dickson Plaza. “It’s been fun. I’ve been here since 8am and it’s been busy all day, the admits seem excited and eager to learn more," Sac Tzep said.
