Kicking off the final day of BottleRock Festival 2025, Allen Stone brought the stage to life with his soulful vocals and interactive presence. With his genre-defying style, which blends funk, gospel, folk rock and soul, he captivates global audiences. His electrifying performance and heartfelt melodies truly delivered his signature effortless groove to Napa.
Backed by his powerhouse background vocalists and dynamic live band, he opened with “Voodoo,” immediately enchanting the crowd with hypnotic energy. Stone brought soul, spirit and vibrant energy to the JaM Cellars Stage, setting the perfect tone for Day 3. This wasn’t just a performance; it was a connection, a shared experience between artist and audience through music and movement. The musicians and background singers drew in the crowd with a stunning finale guitar solo that sang with both soulful melodies and electric riffs. He followed with his single “Is This Love,” blending gritty, heartfelt vocals with tender emotional tones before seamlessly transitioning into “Taste of You.”
Stone kept the crowd engaged with a playful, side-to-side stage dance battle, encouraging each half of the audience to show off their moves and warm up for the exciting performances still to come. It was a moment of pure joy and connection—an extension of the vibe his music so naturally carries.
Throughout the set, Stone performed several fan favorites, including “Sweet Little Rainbows” and “Brown Eyed Lover.” He made space to spotlight his band and background vocalists, who were nothing short of phenomenal. Their voices, layered with vocoder effects and lush instrumentation, created a rich, textured sound that elevated the entire performance.
Stone isn’t just a vocalist; he’s a true performer. With incredible vocal control, impressive guitar skills and a dynamic stage presence, he danced with his band, sprinted across the stage and engaged the crowd at every moment. He closed his set with a funky instrumental groove, thanking the audience and wishing them an amazing rest of the festival and beyond.
One thing Stone proved: He knows how to deliver a powerful ending. His final vocal runs trailed off the stage like a breeze, closing out his set and the final day of BottleRock with style, soul and heart.
