The small screen isn’t so small this spring. With the returns of heavy hitters such as “Invincible” and “Euphoria,” television is gearing up for a season of capes, chaos and characters making a series of poor decisions in a spectacularly entertaining way. Whether you’re in the mood for awkward dramas, superheroes or something in between, these shows are up your alley.
“BEEF” Season Two – Netflix
Tune into Netflix on April 16 to dive into another “BEEF” that creator Lee Sung Jin pushes to the edge in this acclaimed A24 produced anthology. This time around, after peeking through the window of their boss’s home, a Gen Z couple witnesses the man wielding a golf club against his wife. The millennial couple inside the house senses peering eyes and freezes, while the younger pair, eyes wild, make a mad dash from whatever scene they stumbled into.
Previous costars Ali Wong and Steven Yuen are returning, not as actors, but as executive producers. Viewers hope that the astonishing performances and passion that brought “BEEF” to its full gripping fruition in 2023 will still influence this season, potentially leaning more toward the sharp comedy that made the first season so fresh and compelling.
If you want a one-sitting binge that has you swiftly clicking the “play next episode,” catch up on “BEEF” now and clear another day for a nonstop binge when Season 2 arrives.

“Euphoria” Season 3 – HBO Max
The high fans have been waiting for is about to hit.
After four years, HBO’s hit series “Euphoria” is returning to screens on April 12 with a brand-new season. While the first trailer hints at a major time jump, it promises to bring back the drama, heartbreak, secrets and unforgettable chaos that define the show.
“Euphoria” captures striking cinematography, raw storytelling and emotional depth. The new season will follow Zendaya as Rue and the rest of the group, including stars like Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer, as they navigate adult life and attempt to run from their pasts. Like previous seasons, the story will explore difficult themes including addiction, violence, drugs and the emotional complexities of relationships. The intense ending of Season 2 has left fans eagerly wondering about the uncertain future of the group.
Season 3 will introduce fresh faces, as some familiar ones depart. Following the passing of former cast members Angus Cloud and Eric Dane, this season will carry an especially emotional weight for the cast and fans.
As this new chapter approaches, fans can look forward to another unforgettable season.

“The Boys” Season 5 – Prime Video
The boys are back in town and are about to go scorched Earth on some supes.
Amazon Prime’s comic book smash, “The Boys,” is back for its final season on April 8. With the world in shambles after Homelander’s, played by Antony Starr, power play gave him control of the U.S. government, there is only one bloke brave (or dumb) enough to take on The Seven: Billy (freaking) Butcher, played by Karl Urban. The trailers promise all out warfare as beloved characters like Hughie Campbell, played by Jack Quaid, and Starlight, played by Erin Moriarty, gear up for a battle they know they may not return from.
Season 4 was a universal let down – a practical revenue generator for Amazon because they desperately needed the money. However, as the closing teaser trailer shot of Homelander, painted in blood, wailing on some unlucky recipient, shows Season 5 looks to be pulling no punches. And while I hate to use the Marvel Cinematic Universe term, “fan service,” Season 5 is shaping up to be a major crossover event that will see the return of the “Gen V” cast as they join in the fight against Vought; and with Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy on the field, they’ll need all the help they can get.
With world-ending stakes, tragic goodbyes, and more of Soldier Boy’s hilariously inappropriate jokes on the way, “The Boys” Season 5 might just deliver a bloody good time.

“Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 – Disney+
Hell’s Kitchen is going to be a whole lot more crowded.
After a Frankenstein of a first season, “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 seems to be setting up a street-level hero reunion. With Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, centralizing power in New York and vigilantes being criminalized, Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, will need help defending the city.
The biggest reveal so far is the return of Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, a staple of the Netflix era Marvel series. Her return signals the possibility of the reappearance of other street-level heroes such as Luke Cage and Iron Fist, and speculates what other characters might make their debut as this new season adapts the “Devils’ Reign” arc, where Mayor Fisk declares all-out war on vigilantes.
The biggest rumor and hope is Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man making a cameo, as he was referenced in the prior season and with the rumors of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” being a more grounded film, hopes are high to see the Wall Crawler and Man Without Fear meet.
With the entirety of New York under the fist of the Kingpin and the promises of appearances of thought to be forgotten characters, “Daredevil: Born Again” season is set up to be a hell of a good time.

“Invincible” Season 4 – Prime Video
The Best Superhero show in the Universe returns!
Amazon’s fan favorite show “Invincible” is back for its fourth season on March 18, picking up where Season 3 left off with Mark Grayson, voiced by Steven Yeun, battered and beaten after his showdown with Conquest, voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, which is one of the most brutal scenes in the show’s history. The plot threatens to up the ante with the reveal of Grand Regent Thragg, voiced by Lee Pace, leader of the Viltrum Empire.
The fourth season promises to adapt issues 66 to 80, covering the Viltrumite War and appearances of fan favorites Tech Jacket and the scourge of twin galaxies himself, Battle Beast. “Invincible” has been a great adaptation of the series, and as someone who has read the source material, the show has knocked it out of the park when it comes to trimming down the fluff in the series. In a twist, the show is choosing to adapt a cut storyline where Invincible fights his demons, literally fighting the devil. For the first time in series history, comic fans are on the same level as viewers.
With the looming threat of Thragg, the Viltrum empire and literal hell on his doorstep, Mark Grayson will need to prove now more than ever that he is “invincible.”
