Some interesting facts surrounding Super Bowl LX:

This Super Bowl marks a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX in 2015 in which Tom Brady led the New England Patriots to a 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks are expected to go up for sale following Super Bowl LX. According to ESPN, “sale discussions for the Seahawks have taken place at ownership and league levels for at least the past week.” The Seahawks are currently owned by the Paul G. Allen Trust, headed by Jody Allen, who took over following her brother Paul Allen’s death in 2018 after he purchased the franchise in 1997.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, at 23 years and 162 days old, will be the second youngest quarterback to start a Super Bowl. The only younger starter is Dan Marino, who brought the Miami Dolphins to Super Bowl XIX in 1985 at 23 years and 127 days old.

Additional notes:

The 2026 NFL Pro Bowl Games will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m PST. Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor and Ja’Marr Chase are among the superstars set to participate.

Mike McDaniel, who spent the past four seasons as head coach of the Miami Dolphins, was recently hired as the new offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Buffalo Bills promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach after the firing of Sean McDermott, who coached the Bills for the past nine seasons.

I am focused on using this time to make sure that my mind and body are in the best condition to help the team when I return.”
