Bruinwalk is easily one of the best tools you’ll have during your time at UCLA. Whether you’re planning your next quarter or trying to avoid a nightmare professor, this site makes class decisions so much easier.
How to Get Started
Using Bruinwalk is simple and is most accessible through the extension, which can be installed through the Chrome Webstore under the name “Easy Bruinwalk ratings.” Once you install it, you’ll see professor and course ratings appear right next to your schedule of classes on the class planner on MyUCLA — no extra searching required.
How to use Bruinwalk:
Begin by navigating to the site and typing in either the course or the professor you want to check reviews for. Then click on the correct course or professor, and you will see the grade distributions, ratings and comments from other students who’ve taken that class.
Student reviews from course evaluations are combined with manual submissions to give us the ratings of the class or professor.
More Than Classes
Bruinwalk is multifaceted, as you can use it to find ratings on classes, professors, apartments and even explore UCLA student media’s online lifestyle magazine: BruinLife.
For UCLA students, Bruinwalk isn’t just a convenience — it’s a survival tool. Before you enroll in courses, click through, read up and plan smart. You’ll thank yourself later.
