ASUCLA’s $6 Fridays are simple: every Friday, select campus dining spots offer specific menu items for $6. It’s the continuation of what used to be $5 Fridays, and while the price technically went up, the idea stayed the same — give students a reliable, affordable option at the end of the week.
At first, it sounds like just another campus promotion, something you scroll past on Instagram and forget about. But in reality, it ends up being one of those small things that makes your week.
This quarter, there’s an additional new deal: if you buy a bottled water, you get a free Liquid I.V. pouch to stay hydrated with electrolytes.
Campus Offerings
What makes $6 Fridays work isn’t just the price — it’s how spread out it is. You don’t have to go out of your way to find it. There’s usually something near wherever you already are. Welcome to $6 Fridays Spring 2026.
Ackerman Union: The default stop between everything
If you’re on campus for most of the day, you’ll probably pass by Ackerman Union at some point. It’s one of the easiest places to rely on.
These are the places in Ackerman with this Friday offer:
- Bruin Buzz → Matcha Latte with Matcha Cloud
- Wetzel’s Pretzels → any Wetzel Dog
- Taco Bell → Nachos BellGrande with any size fountain drink
- Kerckhoff Coffee House → medium specialty drink + pastry
This is the “I don’t want to think about it” zone. You walk in, pick something and keep moving.
North Campus
North Campus moves fast. You’re going from lecture to lecture, maybe stopping to sit for five minutes if you’re lucky.
Here’s what’s offered:
- Anderson Café → Popcorn Chicken
- Northern Lights → any panini
- Epazote @ LuValle Commons → Chicken Burrito Bowl
- Jimmy’s and Café 451 → medium specialty drink + pastry
South Campus
Similar to North Campus, South Campus is fast-paced and filled with deals to end your week on a high-note.
South Campus offerings include:
- Café Synapse → any pasta bowl + garlic knot
- Southern Lights → medium specialty drink + pastry
- Blaze Pizza (CSSC) → simple pie
- Music Café → breakfast sandwich + drip coffee

My personal favorite is Northern Lights, and it’s become something I look forward to every Friday. But that’s the fun of it — there are so many options that everyone can find their own go-to. Whether it’s a coffee, a quick bite or a full meal, $6 Fridays make it easy to try something new and find your favorite items on campus.
